DISTRIBUTION OF EKPEYE LEARNING MATERIAL TO SCHOOLS IN EKPEYE ETHINIC NATINALITY. IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE DAY

Schedule of Activities
1. 6:00 AM take off from PH
2. 8:00 AM arrival at school #1
8:00 - 8:40 School activities
Pupils/Students assemble (5 mins)
3. 9: 00 AM arrival at school #2
9:00 - 9:40 School activities
4. 10:00 AM - 10:40 AM arrival at school #3
5. 11:00 AM - 11:40AM arrival at school #4
6. 12 PM - 12:40 PM at School #5
- Introduction of Mother tongue Day and organization objectives by SEF (5 mins)
- Introduction of YGEF by YGEF volunteer (4 mins)
- An overview of the Ekpeye Calendar by Chimezunim (10 mins)
- Sing along an Ekpeye song by Charity (5 mins)
- Presentation of calendars to classroom teachers and Head teacher (calendars are to be placed in classrooms) 6 mins.
- Presentation of calendars to winners, Principal and a school staff (calendar to school staff to be placed in staff room) 10 mins
7. 1 PM Departures

We want to thank all our partners, sponsors, Dr. Charles Ewoh, Ms. Comfort Echikwa Usukumah, Dr. Charles Ochonma, Dr. Gift Sunday, Mr. Stephen Shoops, Mr. Wale Ozogoro and our very own hard working volunteers for your support during our First Educational Supplies Project in Community Primary School Ihuike and Government Primary School Ahoada. It is our goal to bring awareness from every medium possible and this does not exclude documentaries and photos of our activities, projects, programs and expeditions. By documenting and reporting our efforts we intend to broaden our outreach.
Imagine going to school everyday without proper shoes, with house slippers or oversized slippers. Well, these are our future generation, we just met them for the first time, in a village in Rivers State, Nigeria. What will you do if you come from this particular village? Would it touch your heart to partner with YGEF to make an impact in their lives? We may not choose which family to be born to, but we can make a choice to support these young children with resources needed to develop their individual learning strategies, values, attitudes and generic skills.
